Drown it out

Trying to drown out the sound of my dad’s ‘Now That’s What I Call Classical Music’ CD with a bit of the OK GO Oh No album. It’s not going well.

What a beautiful idea.
Amazing DIY idea that’d make a great project or gift: Use photographs or vintage postcards to turn a fruit box into a stylish calendar!

One of PaperTIGERtheatre’s project highlights from 2011 was the launch of the ‘Boathouse Beasties’ programme for 4 - 7 year olds in rural Argyll, providing local children with an opportunity to get creative through participation in multi-artform workshops run out of the ‘boathouse’ room of a beautiful local restaurant, Inver Cottage, which overlooks a loch and castle ruins.
These images are from our first adventure in October 2011, where we explored Maurice Sendak’s gorgeous storybook Where The Wild Things Are through movement, drama, mask-making, photography and plenty of chat.

This is one of the most creative, beautiful, inspiring videos I’ve ever seen.
Drink up every last second.

So, after an epic 22 hour rescue mission at the end of a 10-week struggle, the Chilean miners are free.
It is impossible to describe how inspiring it has been to see this momentous event in history - a true feat of engineering and a testament to the spirit of a country and its people.
Three words come to mind:
Love * Hope * Faith
